From Gianfranco Becchina’s country estate in the uplands of northern Sicily, OlioVerde is made with only the finest variety of Nocellara olives. Utilizing the traditional method of hand-picking the olives while they are still green just before they turn black, Signor Becchina remains faithful to the heritage of his craft by never chemically treating his harvest. These factors, along with the precise pressing of the olives, aid in preserving the oil’s exquisite aroma and high quality. After pressing, the unfiltered extract from the olives settles naturally before bottling. Winner of the Outstanding Oil 1998 N.A.S.F.T. Fancy Food Show, OlioVerde is a premium product for any chef.
